Meketaten

Meketaten
(fl. 1340 BC)
Second daughter of Akhenatenand Nefertiti. She appears on many monuments with her sisters during the early part of her father’s reign. The deathbed scene of this princess is vividly depicted in the royal tomb at Amarna. This scene might be interpreted to suggest that she died during childbirth, but this is not certain.
